Alongside a breakout performance from Morgan Kohan, it is incredibly special to bring Chad and Scott back home to The CW.” He said in his statement, “ Sullivan’s Crossing is an emotionally rich, authentic family drama that will immediately resonate with audiences, thanks to an incredible cast and relatable themes of self-reflection, second chances and the power of community. I do recommend reading the books in order although once you get past the first two or three, it isn’t as important. As for what fans can expect, the series will definitely touch on deep themes and feature stellar performances, according to Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment at The CW Network.

But it is the emotional connections that really resonate. The men are all determined to take care of their women’s pleasure first, a good attribute and one I recommend all men take to heart. Let’s just say you can tell the same author wrote all these sex scenes. There is a bit of explicit sex in every book, usually just a couple of scenes, all of which, I’m sorry to say, are very similar. Everyone has baggage, and most have to overcome difficulties, some more serious than others, but all got me emotionally invested. The books are fast reading and the characters are really brought to life. The characters overlap somewhat but the first book, Virgin River, starts with Jack & Mel Sheridan getting together and they are in all of the books thereafter. These are romances, people, and this goes with the territory. Most of the men are retired military and big, strapping extraordinarily good looking men, and most of the women are strong, independent and drop dead gorgeous. Virgin River is the name of a small town set in the mountains of northern California (I think?) Somewhere in California, it’s a fictitious town and I’m geographically challenged in reality, never mind in fiction. Well, there are a couple of novellas that I had to order through interlibrary loan from my library and then I’ll really be finished.

On Christmas Eve day, I started reading Virgin River and I got so caught up in it I haven’t read anything else.

But also because I’ve been reading this series.

First, I got a new job and I’ve been acclimating and learning a lot. So I’ve been neglectful of this site for the last week or so for a couple of reasons.
